43 Destruction of kava (1) Subject to subsection (2) and section 85, where a court makes an order for the destruction of kava, the kava is to be destroyed as soon as reasonably possible after the expiry of: (a) the period of 7 days from the date on which the order was made; or (b) if the order specifies a longer period – that period. (2) A court making an order for the destruction of kava may revoke or vary the order.
