Tasmania regulation
This instrument amends the Justices Rules 2003 by incorporating a specified change into the authorised version of those rules (see rule 3 and the note at rule 4). The amendment takes effect when its making is notified in the Gazette (rule 2).
The change alters magistrates’ court procedure and therefore affects magistrates, court staff, legal practitioners and litigants. The Magistrates Rule Committee made the amendment (signatures appended). No new fees or penalties are specified in these rules, so any compliance cost is procedural and depends on the text now incorporated.
