### 77A Amount of costs

> > (1) In determining the amount of costs to be granted in an order for costs under this Act, justices may have regard to any scale of costs, fees or expenses prescribed or agreed upon under any enactment.
>
> > (2) Justices who, pursuant to [subsection (1)](#GS77A@Gs1@EN) , have regard to any scale of costs, fees or expenses in determining the amount of costs to be granted in an order for costs must specify that scale in the order.
>
> > (3) The clerk of petty sessions must, if directed to do so by justices, tax any costs granted by justices in respect of a matter under this Act.
>
> > (4) A taxation of costs carried out pursuant to [subsection (3)](#GS77A@Gs3@EN) may be subject to review by the justices who presided in the proceedings in respect of which the costs were granted.
