Tasmania act
This Act temporarily amends the Criminal Code Act 1924 and the Police Offences Act 1935 in relation to explosives offences by incorporating those amendments into the authorised versions of those Acts. It commences on the day of Royal Assent (s 2) and self-repeals one year later (s 9). It affects people and organisations regulated by the amended laws — defendants, police, and businesses that handle explosives — by altering the legal rules that govern explosives offences while the Act is in force (ss 3–8).
