37A Trial judge may direct manner of requirement to stand aside or peremptory challenges
(1) The trial judge may direct that a requirement to stand aside or a peremptory challenge is to be conducted, as the judge considers appropriate—
(a) in the court as the potential juror comes to take the juror's seat and before they take it; or
(b) in accordance with a direction to move given to the potential juror.
(2) Only one kind of direction under subsection (1)(a) or (b) may be given to a potential juror in respect of both a requirement to stand aside and a peremptory challenge.
