New South Wales regulation
This regulation, effective 1 September 2022 and replacing the 2017 instrument, standardises complaint intake under the Act by requiring use of a Commission‑approved complaint form lodged with the Chief Executive.
It also requires particulars to be sworn in a statutory declaration, centralising procedural control with the Commission, raising upfront compliance costs and legal accountability for complainants, and likely deterring informal or unsubstantiated complaints.
