66 Protection in relation to contraventions of prohibitions
Protection for answering question (1) A person who: (a) is required to appear, or is appearing, at a hearing of a Commission; and (b) answers a question at the hearing; is not liable for a contravention of a prohibition by or under another Australian law on the answer. Protection for producing document or other thing (2) A person who is required to produce, or who produces, a document or other thing to a member of the staff of, or to a member of, a Commission is not liable for a contravention of a prohibition by or under another Australian law on the production of the document or thing.
