### 7 Calculation of rates of pensions
> > (1) [*\[Section 7 Subsection (1) amended by No. 18 of 1999, Sched. 1, Applied:14 May 1999\]*](/view/html/inforce/1999-05-14/act-1999-018#JS1@JT@tr@oc3@EN) Where under any provision of this Act a person becomes entitled to a pension at the rate of a specified proportion of the appropriate judicial salary the Minister shall pay to that person a pension at a rate that is equivalent to that proportion of what is for the time being the rate of that salary.
