Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation is a housekeeping measure that simply removes two old sets of rules from the books.

What it does:

Repeals Statutory Rules from 1922 and 1929 that originally set up administrative arrangements between Tasmania and the Commonwealth for managing electoral rolls together (called "joint rolls").
Cleans up outdated legislation without creating any new rules or changing how modern elections operate.

Who it affects:

No one directly. This is administrative tidying for electoral law historians and parliamentary counsel.

Why it matters:

Keeps the statute book clean by removing dead law that was no longer in use by 1983.
