7 Under the Marine and Harbours Act 1981 s. 20 a reference in a written law to the former Department of Marine and Harbours is, unless the contrary intention appears, to be read and construed as a reference to the department principally assisting the Minister in the administration of that Act. As at the date this compilation was prepared the department principally assisting the Minister in the administration of the Marine and Harbours Act 1981 is the Department of Transport.
