80 Conditions of fire permit

(1) A fire permit is subject to: (a) a condition that the person to whom the permit is issued must carry the permit when the person lights a fire authorised by the permit; and (b) a condition that the person has, before lighting the fire, obtained any approval, consent or other authority required in relation to lighting the fire by any other Ordinance or any Act; and (c) any other condition imposed on the permit by a bush fire hazard reduction notice; and (d) any other condition prescribed by the rules or specified in the permit. (2) A person commits an offence if: (a) a fire permit has been issued to the person; and (b) the person fails to comply with a condition of the fire permit.

Penalty: 50 penalty units.
