82 Protection from liability
If a person supplies information to the Minister or to a marine investigator in connection with a marine safety investigation, civil proceedings in respect of any matter contained in that information that is or is alleged to be defamatory or a breach of confidence may not be brought against: (a) the Commonwealth; or (b) the Minister; or (c) the marine investigator; or (d) the person who supplied the information.
