109 Exemption for police officers acting in course of duties
A provision of Part 6, does not apply to a police officer who is acting in the course of his or her duties as a police officer if: (a) the provision is section 17 or a provision of any of Divisions 2 to 6 of Part 6; and (b) in the circumstances: (i) the police officer is taking reasonable care; and (ii) it is reasonable that the provision should not apply.
