2 Vacancy in position

(1) The office of a member of the Emergency Management Committee becomes vacant if: (a) the member dies; or (b) for a member other than a member appointed under paragraph 10(2)(b) or (m)—the agency or body the member represented cancels the nomination of the member; or (c) the member resigns the office by giving the Minister a written resignation; or (d) the member ceases to be eligible to be a member under section 10; or (e) for a member appointed under paragraph 10(2)(m)—the appointment of the member is terminated by the Minister. (2) If the office of a member of the Committee becomes vacant, a person is to be appointed to fill the vacancy in accordance with section 10.
