17 Duration of state of emergency
(1) A declaration of a state of emergency has effect immediately on being made. (2) A state of emergency remains in force for the period specified in the declaration, unless the declaration is revoked before that time. (3) The declaration of a state of emergency does not prevent the declaration of further states of emergency in relation to the same or a different emergency.
