##### 3. Agreement approved and provisions to take effect (1) The Agreement is approved. (2) Notwithstanding any other Act or law, and without limiting the effect of subsection (1), — (a) the Company shall be permitted to enter upon the lands mentioned in paragraph (c) of clause 2 of the Agreement, to the extent, and for the purposes, by that paragraph provided; and (b) the provisions of subclause (2) of clause 3 of the Agreement shall take effect. (3) The provisions of section 96 of the *Public Works Act 1902*, do not apply to any railway constructed pursuant to the Agreement. (4) The provisions of section 277(5) of the *Mining Act 1904* 1, do not apply to any renewal of the rights of occupancy granted pursuant to paragraph (a) of clause 2 of the Agreement.
