42C Procedural defect or irregularity
(1) A person's appointment to an office or position, and anything done by a person for the time being holding or acting in an office or position, is not invalid only because of a defect or irregularity in or in relation to the making of the person's appointment to that office.
(2) A delegation, and anything done under the delegation (including any subdelegation), is not invalid only because of a defect or irregularity in or in relation to the making of the delegation.
