18 References in Acts to provisions of subordinate instruments Where in an Act reference is made to a regulation, rule, by-law, local law, proclamation, Order in Council, order, scheme or other provision, the reference shall, unless the context otherwise requires, be construed as a reference to a regulation, rule, by-law, local law, proclamation, Order in Council, order, scheme or other provision (as the case requires) contained in a subordinate instrument made or to be made under or pursuant to the provisions of the Act in which the reference occurs.
