Reference to written law includes reference to subsidiary legislation made under it (1) A reference in a written law to a written law shall be construed so as to include a reference to any subsidiary legislation made under that written law. (1a) An example of the operation of subsection (1) is that a reference in an Act to “this Act” includes a reference to any subsidiary legislation made under the Act. (2) A reference in a written law to an Imperial Act or a Commonwealth Act shall be construed so as to include a reference to any subsidiary legislation made under that Act.
