##### 32. Headings, marginal notes and footnotes (1) The headings of the Parts, divisions and subdivisions into which a written law is divided form part of the written law. (2) A marginal note or footnote to a written law and, in a context where there is no marginal note with respect to the relevant provision and notwithstanding subsection (1), a heading to a section, regulation, rule, local law, by‑law, or clause of a written law, or to a portion of a section, regulation, rule, local law, by‑law or clause of a written law, shall be taken not to be part of the written law.
