65E Statutory instrument may require making of statutory declaration (1) If an Act gives power to make, grant or issue a statutory instrument, the instrument may require the making of a statutory declaration. (2) Subsection (1) applies: (a) whether or not the Act authorises or requires penalties to be prescribed by instrument; and (b) if the Act authorises or requires penalties to be prescribed by instrument not exceeding a specified amount or period of imprisonment.
