65D Subordinate legislation may provide for infringement notice
offences
If an Act authorises the making of subordinate legislation under the
Act, the power enables subordinate legislation to be made providing
for:
(a) the payment of a prescribed amount instead of a penalty that
may otherwise be imposed for an offence against the Act or
the subordinate legislation; and
(b) the service of a notice relating to payment of the amount on a
person alleged to have committed the offence; and
(c) the particulars to be included in the notice.
