38G Civil penalties
In an Act, a reference to a civil penalty (however described) being
imposed or required to be paid for a contravention of a provision of
the Act indicates that the contravention may lead to a penalty being
imposed not exceeding the penalty specified in, or prescribed for
the purposes of, the provision.
