38F Penalties for breach of subordinate legislation (1) Subordinate legislation may prescribe a fine for an offence against the legislation. (2) The fine prescribed must not exceed 100 penalty units. Note for subsection (2) Because of section 38DC, the maximum fine for a body corporate that may be imposed under the subordinate legislation is 500 penalty units. (3) This section has effect subject to the Act under which the legislation is made.
