186Arrangements with States

#### 186 Arrangements with States (1) The Governor‑General may make arrangements with the Governor of a State with respect to the administration of this Act, including arrangements relating to the performance of functions or the exercise of powers under this Act by officers of the State. (2) An arrangement may be varied or terminated at any time. (3) The Attorney‑General is to cause notice of the making, variation or termination of an arrangement to be published in the Gazette. (4) The reference in subsection (1) to the Governor of a State is: (a) in relation to the Australian Capital Territory—a reference to the Chief Minister for that Territory; or (b) in relation to the Northern Territory—a reference to the Administrator of that Territory.
