#### 64F Civil penalty provisions—remedial directions (1) This section applies if the ACMA reasonably believes that a person has contravened, or is contravening, a civil penalty provision of this Act (other than subsection (4) of this section). (2) The ACMA may give the person a written direction requiring the person to take specified action directed towards ensuring that the provider does not contravene the provision, or is unlikely to contravene the provision, in the future. (3) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person is subject to a direction under subsection (2); and (b) the person engages in conduct; and (c) the person’s conduct contravenes the direction. Penalty: 50 penalty units. (4) A person must not contravene a direction to which the person is subject under subsection (2). Civil penalty for contravention of this subsection: 75 penalty units.
