#### 61QD Application of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 to the Register operator (1) For the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982, if the National Self‑exclusion Register is kept by the Register operator under a particular contract, the contract is taken to be a Commonwealth contract. (2) For the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982, if the National Self‑exclusion Register is kept by the Register operator under a particular contract, each of the following: (a) the keeping of the National Self‑exclusion Register by the Register operator; (b) the operation of the National Self‑exclusion Register by the Register operator; (c) the performance of a function, or the exercise of a power, by the Register operator under: (i) this Part; or (ii) the Register rules; is taken to be the provision of a service under the contract in connection with the performance of the functions or the exercise of the powers of the ACMA.
