225Inspector—officer of the Legislative Assembly

225 Inspector—officer of the Legislative Assembly (1) The inspector is an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly. (2) The functions, powers, rights, immunities and obligations of the inspector are as stated in this Act and any other law in force in the Note A law in force in the Territory includes a territory law and a Commonwealth law. (3) There are no implied functions, powers, rights, immunities or obligations arising from the inspector being an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly. (4) The powers of the Legislative Assembly to act in relation to the inspector are as stated in this Act and any other law in force in the (5) In subsection (4): Legislative Assembly includes— (a) the members of the Legislative Assembly; and (b) the committees of the Legislative Assembly. (6) There are no implied powers of the Legislative Assembly arising from the inspector being an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly.
