147ADealing with examination summons for Assembly

147A Dealing with examination summons for Assembly (1) This section applies if a person (other than a current or former member of the Legislative Assembly)— (a) has been issued with an examination summons; and (b) considers that the summons requires the giving of evidence, or the production of a document or other thing, containing Assembly information. (2) The person must— (a) not give the evidence, or produce the document or thing; and (b) give the Speaker a copy of the examination summons; and

(d) comply with the examination summons to the extent that it does not relate to Assembly information; and (e) if the Speaker authorises the person to give the evidence, or produce the document or thing, to the commission—give the evidence, or produce the document or thing.
