61 Function of Integrity Tribunal

(1)  [Section 61 Subsection (1) amended by No. 55 of 2011, s. 16, Applied:22 Dec 2011] [Section 61 Subsection (1) amended by No. 55 of 2011, s. 16, Applied:22 Dec 2011] The function of an Integrity Tribunal is to conduct an inquiry into a matter in respect of which the Board has determined under section 58 that an inquiry be undertaken and make findings and determinations in respect of that matter.

(2)  In conducting an inquiry, the Integrity Tribunal may –

(a) hold hearings; and

(b) receive submissions or evidence; and

(c) inform itself in any matter it considers appropriate; and

(d) exercise all or any of the powers conferred on it by this Act.
