### 30 Functions of chief executive officer in relation to Members of Parliament > The chief executive officer is to – > > > > (a) monitor the operation of the Parliamentary disclosure of interests register, declarations of conflicts of interest register and any other register relating to the conduct of Members of Parliament; and > > > > > (b) prepare guidance and provide training for Members of Parliament and persons employed in the offices of Members of Parliament on matters of conduct, integrity and ethics; and > > > > > (c) review, develop and monitor the operation of any codes of conduct and guidelines that apply to Members of Parliament; and > > > > > (d) where appropriate, propose to a Parliamentary integrity entity possible modifications of any code of conduct or guidelines.
