- This Prudential Standard is made under section 32 of the Insurance Act 1973 (the Act).
Application

This Prudential Standard applies to all insurers authorised under the Act.[1]

Subject to any specific transition rules, an insurer must comply with this Prudential Standard from 1 July 2008 (effective date).

Where specifically indicated in this Prudential Standard, certain requirements may be complied with on an insurance group basis.
