#### 32 Minimum amounts
Claims arising out of events referred to in paragraph 31(1)(a) or (b)
(1) The minimum amount in respect of a claim made under a contract referred to in section 30, being a claim that arises out of an event referred to in paragraph 31(1)(a) or (b), is declared to be the amount sufficient to indemnify the person who made the claim in respect of his or her loss or damage.
Claims arising out of events referred to in paragraph 31(1)(c)
(2) The minimum amount in respect of a claim made under a contract referred to in section 30, being a claim that arises out of an event referred to in paragraph 31(1)(c), is declared to be the amount sufficient to indemnify the person who made the claim in respect of the reasonable cost of:
(a) the funeral or cremation; or
(b) transporting the remains of the deceased person to the deceased’s former place of residence.
Claims arising out of events referred to in paragraph 31(1)(d)
(3) The minimum amount in respect of a claim made under a contract referred to in section 30, being a claim that arises out of an event referred to in paragraph 31(1)(d), is declared to be the amount sufficient to indemnify the person who made the claim in respect of the reasonable cost of:
(a) medical, surgical, hospital, ambulance and nursing home charges; and
(b) other medical treatment;
incurred during the specified journey as a result of the sickness, disease or injury.
