##### 8 State and Northern Territory insurance
This Act does not apply to or in relation to:
(a) State insurance or Northern Territory insurance; or
(b) a contract of insurance or proposed contract of insurance entered into or proposed to be entered into by:
(i) a State or the Northern Territory; and
(ii) some other insurer;
as joint insurers.
