##### 7 Exceptions to application of Act This Act does not apply to or in relation to contracts and proposed contracts: (a) of reinsurance; or (b) of insurance entered into, or proposed to be entered into, by a registered health benefits organization, as an insurer, in the course of its business as a registered organization within the meaning of Part VI of the National Health Act 1953; or (c) of insurance entered into, or proposed to be entered into, by the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation under the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Act 1991, other than short‑term insurance contracts within the meaning of that Act; or (d) for interests in approved benefit funds (within the meaning of the Life Insurance Act 1995) of friendly societies (within the meaning of that Act).
