Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The instrument records that the Minister has made the "Recovery Plan for the Australian Sea Lion (Neophoca cinerea) 2013" under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and that the plan takes effect the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

It formally establishes the plan for the species but does not itself specify measures, funding, obligations or who will implement them—those details are in the recovery plan and later administrative decisions.
