9 Role of an inquiry assistant
(1) An inquiry assistant must help the Inspector‑General ADF, an inquiry officer or an Assistant IGADF to inquire into the matter for which the inquiry assistant is appointed. (2) An inquiry assistant: (a) may help the Inspector‑General ADF, inquiry officer or Assistant IGADF to collect evidence for the purposes of the inquiry; and (b) must give to the Inspector‑General ADF, inquiry officer or Assistant IGADF any evidence he or she collects for the purposes of the inquiry.
