117  Decision to cancel registration made before the commencement day  (a) before the commencement day, a decision is made by a committee under section 155I of the old Act that the trustee should cease to be registered; and  (b) the Inspector‑General has not given effect to the committee’s decision before the commencement day. Note: In the case of a decision by the committee under paragraph 155I(2)(b) that the trustee should continue to be registered subject to specified conditions, see item 109. (2) On the commencement day, the committee is taken to have made a decision under section 40‑55 of the Insolvency Practice Schedule (Bankruptcy) to cancel the registration of the person as a trustee. (3) Section 40‑65 of the Insolvency Practice Schedule (Bankruptcy) applies in relation to the decision as if the decision were made on the commencement day. (4) To avoid doubt, nothing in this item affects any right or obligation that any person has before the commencement day, including any right to review, in relation to the consideration of the matter by the committee.
