Tasmania regulation
This Order amends the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 and takes effect on the day its making is notified in the Gazette. It does not itself set out seasonal or waters rules; instead it changes the operative text of the 1996 Order, so anyone regulated under that Order (fishers, licence-holders and administrators) must follow the updated authorised version. The Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment administers the instrument.

In this order, the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 is referred to as the Principal Order.
The amendment effected by this clause has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 .
