144 False and misleading statements
A person, in making an application, giving any information or producing a document under this Act, must not –
(a) make a statement knowing it to be false or misleading; or
(b) omit any matter from a statement knowing that without that matter the statement is misleading.
Penalty: Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.
