7 Direct marketing Note 1 The Commonwealth Act includes a privacy principle prohibiting direct marketing by certain private sector entities (see Commonwealth APP 7). Note 2 However, Commonwealth APP 7 applies to an act or practice of a public sector agency if the agency engages in commercial activities (see s 23).
