49 Meaning of TPP code
(1) For this Act, a TPP code is a code of practice about information
privacy.
(2) A TPP code must—
(a) set out how 1 or more of the TPPs are to be applied or complied
with; and
(b) state the public sector agencies that are bound by the code, or a
way of working out which public sector agencies are bound by
the code; and
(c) set out when the code is in force.
(3) A TPP code may do 1 or more of the following:
(a) impose additional requirements to those imposed by 1 or more
TPPs that are not contrary to, or inconsistent with, the TPPs;
(b) deal with the internal handling of privacy complaints;
(c) provide for the reporting to the information privacy
commissioner about privacy complaints;
(d) deal with any other relevant matters.
