Commonwealth legislation
This instrument prescribes the COVID‑19 Consumer Travel Support Program under the Industry Research and Development Act 1986 and authorises immediate, short‑term financial support for travel agents and tour arrangement service providers that have at any time qualified for the JobKeeper scheme (s3, s5). Commencement is immediate on registration (s2); the instrument relies on the Act’s s33 authority and lists the constitutional heads of power relevant to the program (s3, s6) but does not itself set out administrative or payment mechanics.
