Commonwealth legislation
This instrument prescribes the Australian Made Export Initiative Program under the Industry Research and Development Act 1986 and authorises government funding to strengthen country‑of‑origin branding for Australian products. It supports activities tied to the Australian Made, Australian Grown (AMAG) logo — such as overseas trademark registration, enforcement, promotion, research and related export education and business development. The measure affects exporters, AMAG trademark holders and the administering agency by directing public funds to brand protection and promotion and by creating administrative decisions about which activities receive support.
