sec.25 Time for service
Unless these rules otherwise provide, a document required under these rules to be served must be served as soon as practicable, but at least 3 business days, before— the return day stated in the document; or the day on which it is proposed to apply. Despite subrule (1) , the court, commission or registrar may direct that a document be served in a shorter time.
