sec.128 Change of lawyer or particular agent
This rule applies if a party or person changes the party’s or person’s— lawyer; or agent, who was appointed under section 529 (1) (b) of the Act , to another agent who is appointed under the same section. The new lawyer or agent must, as soon as practicable after appointment, file a notice of change of lawyer or agent and serve a copy of the notice on the party’s or person’s former lawyer or agent and all parties to the proceeding. The notice must be in the approved form. On filing, the address for service stated in the notice is the party’s or person’s address for service. r 128 amd 2023 SL No. 157 s 9 (sec.128-ssec.1) This rule applies if a party or person changes the party’s or person’s— lawyer; or agent, who was appointed under section 529 (1) (b) of the Act , to another agent who is appointed under the same section. (sec.128-ssec.2) The new lawyer or agent must, as soon as practicable after appointment, file a notice of change of lawyer or agent and serve a copy of the notice on the party’s or person’s former lawyer or agent and all parties to the proceeding.
