sec.49 Representation by federation
After it is recognised, a federation may represent its constituent organisations and the members of the constituent organisations under the Act . However— an organisation belonging to a federation may still represent itself or its members; and a federation may not become a party to an industrial instrument. (sec.49-ssec.1) After it is recognised, a federation may represent its constituent organisations and the members of the constituent organisations under the Act .
