#### 83 Powers of inspectors to institute proceedings
(1) In addition to the powers conferred on inspectors as mentioned in subsection 84(4) of the Industrial Relations Act, an inspector may institute any proceeding in relation to an offence against the previous Act that may, by virtue of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 or this Act, be instituted after the commencement.
(2) The power of an inspector under section 178 of the Industrial Relations Act to institute a proceeding in relation to a breach of a term of an award or order extends to a breach that occurred before the commencement.
