#### 387 Offences relating to obstruction etc of inspectors 387 Offences relating to obstruction etc of inspectors > > (1) A person must not deliberately hinder or obstruct an inspector in the exercise of the functions conferred by this Part. > > > (2) A person must not, without lawful excuse, fail to comply with a requirement of an inspector under this Part. > > > (3) A person must not, on demand by an inspector to state his or her name and place of residence in connection with the exercise of those functions, refuse to do so or state a false name or place of residence. > > > (4) A person must not purport to exercise the powers of an inspector under this Part if the person is not an inspector. > > Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
