381 Appointment of Industrial Local Court Judges
> > (1) The Governor may appoint a Judge of the Local Court to be an Industrial Local Court Judge, and may appoint any such Industrial Local Court Judge to be the Chief Industrial Local Court Judge.
>
> > (2) The Governor may appoint a Judge of the Local Court to act as Chief Industrial Local Court Judge during the illness or absence of the Chief Industrial Local Court Judge and the judge is, while so acting, taken to be the Chief Industrial Local Court Judge.
>
> > (3) A person appointed to any office under this section ceases to hold that office if the person ceases to be a Judge of the Local Court or the person resigns that office by instrument in writing addressed to the Governor.
>
> > (4) The Chief Industrial Local Court Judge is entitled to be paid remuneration in accordance with the [Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act 1975](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1976-004).

> > (5) A person holding office as Industrial Local Court Judge is taken to hold the office on either a full-time or part-time basis, according to whether the person holds the office of Judge of the Local Court on a full-time or part-time basis under the [Local Court Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-093).
